Griffin LOVES his cousin Nadia and they had a great time hanging out on Thanksgiving! I caught a few pictures of them writing their "thankfuls" and the pictures crack me up. I can totally imagine their conversation going a little something like this ...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday and I am so blessed with the life that I have. I have too many blessings to name, so I will just say I am very fortunate to have the friends and family in my life that I do. I am thankful to have a job that I enjoy (even though I complain about being tired a lot) and I am thankful for the little things that I take for granted daily. I'm a person with MANY, MANY things to be thankful for! Enjoy this day with you families and friends!

Well, it's 3:49am and I am awake ... I have a cold and once my meds wore off my nose wouldn't stop running, so I just got up. Anyway, since I am awake I am continuing to download my extensive CD collection into iTunes in preparation for my new iPod. I spent 75% of my weekend doiung this exact same thing ... okay, I know it's a little 1.) obsessive, 2.) crazy, any maybe even a little 3.) FUN! I have been hearing tons of songs from years ago. A few of my favorites have been:

• Skeelo "I Wish"
• Paperboy "Ditty"
• Run DMC "It's Tricky"

Oh, the memories ... anyway, wish me luck or pray for me ... you choose.

Welcome to the Age of Technology

I am finally getting an iPod ... I know, it took me long enough! Happy early Christmas to me! I've been busy downloading music in preparation of my new arrival. My old CD collection is pretty crazy, so I will be working dilligently for a few days! I can't wait though!!!

Attitude of Gratitude

I thought since the season of Thanksgiving is upon us, that I would be a great time to start back up with the things that I am thankful for. So, here they are, in no particular order, the 10 things that I am thankful for this week are ...

1. to be feeling better ... medicine, a great doctor, much needed rest have all helped me to get back to feeling like myself again.


2. a fun night and morning/afternoon of Mommy/Griffin time ... Jimmy went hunting and the little guy and I had fun hanging out (well, all was fun until bedtime came).


3. a great husband who has picked up some of my slack over the last few weeks.


4. a thrilling win from our Buckeyes over Iowa ... overtime, a last minute field goal ... Rose Bowl, here we come ... oh yeah!
   
5. family to help me out when I need an extra hand.
   
6. friends/co-workers who cheer me up when I feel like crap and ...


7. friends/co-workers who help me when I am missing school.


8. students who make me laugh every single day.


9. DVR ... Project Runway and a glass of wine made for a great Friday night.


10. a good life ... I am very blessed.

Happy Birthday Paw Paw!

Today is Paw Paw's (a.k.a. my father-in-law) birthday! Griffin LOVES his Paw Paw and I know in the future they will many more fun times together. Happy Birthday Paw Paw; we love you and hope that you have a wonderful birthday!

Prayers for Stellan

As of today, Stellan is back in Children's Hospital in Boston and he is going to have a heart abalation surgery on Tuesday.
